There is a problem

When you finally peel back all the layers, you find out that we (humans) are part of the problem not part of the solution. Contrary to popular (church) thinking, we at CLA don't think that self-improvement is the key to life. We think the opposite. We reject the "do more, try harder" mentality towards a better life.

Here is the truth: More effort plus good intentions do not equal lasting change. We won't be fully fixed until we are with the King. But he made a rescue plan that was perfectly executed by his son Jesus 2000 years ago and, as a result, we have hope!

2000 Years Ago

2000 years ago, God, out of his great love for us, sent his son Jesus to fix the problem once and for all. He loved us in a way that we had never been loved before and will never be loved again. Jesus' death and resurrection made a way for us all to commune with God. Now, 2000 years later, we can all actually experience that love.

What Now?

The truth is that salvation is completely one-sided. Jesus is choosing you this very moment even though you may not even be looking for Him. Your life doesn't need to get better before God can be with you. All you have to do is respond to Him. Like we have responded.
